About the Book

Before the beginning of time, the universe is in chaos. Planets collide and galaxies battle it out for supremacy in the vast emptiness of space. There are no rules. There is no concept of right and wrong, good or bad, future or past. What is… is.

Into this vast emptiness, unkown entities emerge. They float and waft, zoom and streak through the mist, but then, they gather into groups. In their own way, these nothings develop into something that resembles life forms. Mindlessly encircling the stars, they create and destroy planets, whirling and diving through the blackness with abandon. Today, we call these entities ‘spirits’.

The result of this unbridled activity is even more chaos. Explosions abound, massive clouds of debris… billows of gasses and shrieks of interplanetary thunder rocket through the cosmos! The universe reels with no one to hear or see… or care… except the spirits.

Among the spirits, a cosmic rivalry emerges… the rivalry between thought and thoughtlessness, right and wrong, good and evil, glory and… total destruction. The spirit rivals attacht followers. The followers become teams. The massive teams develop agendas for their planet, their galaxy… their universe.

Creator is the leader of one of these teams. His mission is to create a peaceful planet which will exist forever. His rival, the Auras of Evil, see this goal as a target for their destruction. Their cosmic goal is fire and brimstone, disruption and fury… and the inevitable destruction of the universe.

And so, a Game begins. There is still no rules. Creator’s new planet is coming alive but the Auras are already pros at destruction. The actual existence of the earth and everything on will be destroyed at their whim, and Creator doesn’t even know that his entire creation is in danger!… It’s Spirit’s Game.
